About Akal Ustat(i): The tenth Nanak has explained the attributes of the Almighty with his aesthetic sense par excellence. He has said that God is not only the source of every ‘thing’, ‘idea’ and ‘anything else’ that we can think of or even beyond our thinking but also is immanent in those. He is all inclusive. No thing or thought or idea, whatsoever subtle or gross is outside God. All inclusiveness and beyond are also other names of God. All ‘things’, ‘ideas’ and ‘anything else’, whether we consider good or bad, emanate from God and merge in Him ultimately. For example, He gives goodness to gods and haughtiness to demons. In this way He enjoys His play.
