Project: Electronic attendance recording system .

Client: Opto-Electronic Factory, Ministry of defense, Raipur, DEHRADUN

Role: Project Engineer.

Team Size-1. The domain experts visited the site whenever required.

Time – Jan 2004 – Aug 2005.

 

 

Project Description:

The Opto-electronic factory is one of the 41 ordnance factories which comes under ministry of defense located at Raipur, DEHRADUN. It is engaged in the production of the night vision devises for all the three defense services.

The employee strength is nearly 1800 which includes 1100 industrial employees, 300 non industrial employees and 300 non gazetted officers and 10 gazetted officers.

The project was to replace the old token system used for marking the attendance of the employees, access control and to automate the generation of the Over Time Calculation by using the latest technology available.

 

The company was given the smart card solution for the same. Each employee was issued a smart card  identity card which was personalized for every users. Individual employee’s data is stored in the smart card.

An existing software ( Time Keeper Software ) was modified to calculate the Over Time Report and the payroll of the employee.  

Role: Co-ordination with the client and the company. Errection, commissioning and  and maintenance  electronic attendance recording system which includes Time Keeper and DataLog Software and the associated hard ware like Smart card readers (TL90SCU+),Net-X, Tel-X etc , Support of  Windows 2000 server and Windows 2000 professional clients along with Wipro LQ5400 printer, Datacard thermal printer (used for the printing of the ID cards) and Lipi High Speed Printers

Skills Acquired: Managing walk in clients, response to client’s diverse but individual queries and needs. Maintenance  of the network and the systems.

   b) Birla Sunlife, Mayfair Complex, Secunderabad.

 

Project: Network and Hardware support to Birla Sun life.

Client: Birla sun life Insurance
