Bubba's Jeep Page
Hello my name is Dave but they call me Bubba on the CB (we have two Dave's in the club, it get's a little confusing).  I am fairly new to the sport of off-roading, but I am learning quickly.  I am a member of a club called the North Shore Wheelers. We are based on the north shore of Lake Superior near Duluth MN, and we have members from all over the state.  We are not a group of guys that go out to tear up the country side.  We like to make as little impact as we can.  We are a non-brand specific club, and our members drive everything from stock to heavily modified rigs.  We try and get out about two times a month during the season. If you are interested in joining us on a trail run contact me or the club.  The website is listed in the links section.
This is my Jeep a bone stock 1998 Cherokee.

About My Jeep
Well the lift and tires are on.  I also upgreaded the front bumper and did some trimming on the fenders.  I also am getting some rocker guards built and they will be installed some time this spring.  The Jeep is coming along nicely.  Some in action shots will be coming in the following months.  The projects list is getting smaller and smaller.  Once I get a little more lift, some 33's and regear to 4.56's I will be done.

Here's the front skid plate.  I made it to look like the shark mouths on the Flying Tigers P-40's in WWII.  They were my favorite squadron.  Pappy Boyington's Black Sheep are second but since he was a flying tiger first the are my favorites.
Here's the front bumper.  It is from Nate's 4x4.  It is really stout.  The mounts run way back along the frame and reinforce the steering box mounts.  It also has some light mounts.  I will be putting some lights on soon.
