| Ramsey Winch Removal |
| The Ramsey winch that came with the jeep never worked. After closer inspection, I determined that new brushes would be needed for the motor, and the gears would have to be cleaned out and relubed. So I made the decision to remove it for the following reasons: (1) The winch motor was fried, and the motor shaft was seized onto the gear, (2)Like the Trailer Hitch, the previous owner has rigged up a mount from scrap angle iron, (3)The wiring is frayed and dangerous to operate. |
