| I've been looking to LED's as replacements. Theyre brighter, draw less energy, last longer and look better. However light kits for vehicles for some reason are in the hundreds of dollars. I went to a local marine equipment store and purchased LED boat trailer lights. The marine quality means stainless-steel hardware and sealed lenses. They bolted right into the existing holes from the previous lights.Getting these lights to work required a new turn signal indicator because the original one was broken, and the wiring looked like a bird nest. I ordered one from 4wheel drive hardware. The wiring diagram is pretty self explanatory. These dont look too 'jeep' like, but theyre LED's and they work. |
