| Most of my day trips are done with Cindy, my friend of 17 years (whew!) and her children, and of course, Chad. Wyatt goes with us sometimes, but since he is on his own now we don't always have the pleasure of his company. |
| The Spiral Jetty is is installation art on the north shore of Great Salt Lake. Normally the water levels are too high to see it, but we heard on the news that since levels were low it was visible. Of course we loaded up the car for a day trip! Be began the walk out onto the jetty but didn't make it clear out to the tip of the spiral. The salt crystals were very sharp and the water was still too deep for some of us. I plan on going back someday and completing the whole spiral (These are NOT my photos. We were sans camera on this trip so I borrowed from other sites.) |
