Well, I have no one answer, It started off as a joke with my wife years ago, and I guess it just kept going. After being teased about a world record, I found that there IS a world record, and so as they say, the rest is history (or will be someday).
What Is Your Favorite Mug?
I can honestly say that I do not have one favorite mug, each mug in my collection is special; some for historic reasons, reminders of great companies who is no longer in business, sentimental reasons, and just simply the design. Each mug speaks volumes, some shout out their message, while others are so suttle that you actually have to think as to the message being conveyed. So, no, I have no one favorite, they are all my favorite!
Where Do You Get Your Mugs?
Some I have purchased at tag sales and flea markets, my family and friends who are accutely aware of my obsession occasionally bring a new addition to my collection, but for the most part I write to businesses and request a promotional mug for my collection.
What Kind Of A Response Have You Received So Far?
Well, It's approximately 33%, from 01 Jan 02 thru 31 Jan 03, Isent requests to 614 companies; out of those I received replies from 154, so 460 businesses could not even give me the courtisy to respond to my request!
