Bethel Ridge June 1999

Myself and Nate, Gary and Allen in the Cruiser, and Ben and Jason in the Scout 80 set out on a Sunday morning for a short trip to test some recent work on our vehicles. Our destination was a ridge road  that separates White Pass and Chinook Pass in our Washington Cascades. We hadn't been out more than a couple hours when Gary and Allen decided to head home due to overheating problems. The rest of us played a couple more hours before the Scout had trouble. It broke a front brake line on a steep hill around Lynn Lake. After some trailside repair, Ben was able to drive it home.

Playing in snow drifts on Bethel Ridge road.

Manuevering through the trees.

Ben pulling out Gary's Landcruiser.

I broke my spare tire mount on a steep hill climb on Lynn Lake trail. This was later the same day.
