This is Phil.  I find it tremendously startling that Andy and Jed had the same idea I did only a week prior.  Maybe it was because we discussed it at Denny's, only I'm lazier than Jed to the power of half.

May 30, 2001 Hellllooooo laaaaaadies!  Well, Jed updated the page (by the way, Mr. Jed, I do know how to move text around, as you may note by the rather neat layout of the news here) and now the truth has finally come out - this place sucks.  If you're reading this I feel sorry for you, because that means you still bother to check in on something that Jed and I only think about once every couple of monthes.
On the other hand, About Jed is all new and all cool, so go read it, and then re-read everything else we've never bothered to do anything with, even the broken stuff and the stuff that's so old even we can't remember why it's there.  TELL YOUR FRIENDS: JednPhil.com rules!!

Holy Shiznit! It's been like three monthes since we did anything!
Of course both of us work well over 40 hours a week now, and really don't have time for any sort of life outside work, let alone have time to work on this silly page.  But we still check out email, so if the need is great enough, maybe we could make time.

Jan. 18, 2001 Well, you told us to get our asses to work, and we're trying dammit!  We haven't actually come together to brainstorm what to do next yet, but we've come close to planning when we might! 
In any case, looks like the survey says the poetry must go! But we'll see.. something else could still win and we're prejudiced and want the poetry to stay.  In other news, About Phil got updated again, and we got our counter back.  Unfortunately the old one couldn't be saved, but luckily (sort of) this one has all the hits the old one missed after it died (there is an explanation for this, but it's long.) so we can still tell what our total hit count is: whatever this one says + 5000 (Actually about 4875, but who cares).  So right now we're at 7100. 
Which is way more than I would've expected.  Thanks for your patronage!
