About the bike tour:
Departing on June 11th, 2007, we will leave Vancouver, B.C. and begin biking across Canada to Newfoundland.  During our adventures, we will raise money for the Heart & Stroke Foundation, as well as  raise awareness about Heart Disease and Strokes.

We have 3 main objectives:
1 - promote active lifestyles among Canadians
2 - raise awareness of the severity and frequency of heart disease in Canada
3 - raise funds for the Heart and Stroke Foundation for research and medical advancement

07 - A big thank-you to everyone who has shown their support and to everyone who has donated so far!  Our facebook group -- which is one way we intend to raise awareness about heart disease and stroke -- already has 223 members!
On the fundraising front, our page has over $200 worth of donations, however there are still over $900 of donations in the form of cheques and cash that have yet to be entered.  Congratulations everyone, on breaking the $1,000 mark before the trip has even started!  Thanks for all the support!
