| Saesee Tiin was a member of the Jedi Council during the final decades of the Republic. Unlike his fellow Council members, Saesee Tiin was very reclusive and rarely took part in the more basic duties of the Jedi Council. As a Iktotchi, Saesee Tiin had telepathic powers, he was brought to the Jedi Temple and trained under the guidance of Jedi Master Omo Bouri. Master Bouri had trained Tiin so diligently that some thought Tiin was pushed to hard in his Jedi training. This master and apprentice pair had grown such a strong bond together that when Master Oburi died, Tiin was said to have spent time to try and find ways to contact his dead master, such as through the Force and through other more eccentric ways, later on in his life. This, along with his tendency to keep to himself, generated questions about his value to the Council, since he rarely made any contribution. | ||||||||
