Conventions |

Here you will find some of the Conventions that I have attended over the years. Not many but they have all been a blast. From my first one The Slanted Fedora convention in Syracuse to the biggest one in the world Celebration 3 in Indianapolic. I have met some great people at these conventions both the stars, the fans and also the other costumers that have attended these events, |

This was an awesome event and my first in the US. It was also the first time I got to meet some of the Salt City Jedi
Pictured left to right. Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) Ethan Phillips with hat (Neelix from Voyager) and Robert Picardo (The Doctor in Voyager). And finally Rick Searfoss (NASA Shuttle Astronaut Columbia Pilot and Commander of the Atlantis Space Shuttle);. The fifth star was Robin Curtis who played Lt, Saavak in Star Trek 3 The search for Spock. I didn't get a good photo of her so, here is one from the movie. |

Empire Fan Fest
Sucaucus NJ April 16th & 17th 2004 |

This was a 2 day event (but unfortunatly I couldn't stay for the second day). Held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Sucaucus, New Jersey on the weekend of April 16th and 17th 2004. The hotel was fantastic, especialy the bar in which Patric, Karl and I sharerd more than a couple of pints together on the Friday before the event. On the Sunday there was a very rear appearance by Mark Hamill. As I said I had to return home on the Saturday night but, I did get to meet some other great stars from Star Wars but my camera had ran out of batteries and I couldn't get any pictures taken with them. Hopefuly next time. |

This was a one day event. But with some great stars lined up. I got to meet some one that I admire not just because he is Darth Maul and Toad from the X-MEN movies but because we also have something in commen. Were both from England and we both hold second degree black belt. Ray Park was a lot of fun to hang around with. Also Yvonne craig was great to have pictures taken with. And the big supprise was Robin Curtis. I was just standing at the rebel legion/501st table when this woman walks past. She said "Hi I like your costume" I said "Thanks". I'm thinking I know this woman. Thenit hits he. ROBIN CURTIS. She was there with her husband and 2 sons. her boys had wanted to attend the Expo so they had brought them. She was kind enough to have pictures taken with us and we chatted for about half an hour. Ray Park and Robin Curtis were kind enought to give pod cast interviews for one of the Binghamton Chapter members |
