What a mess

What a mess. I don’t know which way is up anymore.

There are “steps” leading me every which way.

Some are pulling me toward a trail of lies, yet others

pull me toward the truth.

So many decisions, no one told me life would be so hard.

I try to convey that message unto my children,

It falls on deaf ears.

One to young to understand, the other too lost in himself to give a fuck!

My heart sinks deeper everyday,

deep into the depths of lies and infidelity.

I’m climbing the “steps”,

But am I going up or down?
