My Poem

(11-5-01)

 

Some people think I'm suicidal.

I guess I am, you could say that.

But, isn't everyone?

Doesn't everyone have that thought at least once?

Just once they wished they could blow their brains out

And just end it once and for all?

I quote a System of A Down song:

"Did you ever try to fly?

Have you ever wanted to die?

Don't ever try to fly.

Don't ever try to die."

Does everyone get the whole picture

That goes with those lyrics?

I'm pretty sure I do.

But, being me, I won't go into detail.

You're also probably wondering

Why this poem doesn't rhyme.

I'll stop with that.

I wrote during studyhall in school.

Suicide.

Now it's completely stupid.

It's nothing.

But, hey, you're obviously still reading.

Must be semi-good.

Remind me to congratulate

Myself on such a good poem.

But, I still think it's bad.

Oh well, what's written is written.
