If I Die

 

If I die this day—

            Take me far, far away.

And if my spirit should never return—

            Take the loss to heart and learn.

If your hurt should never heal—

            Go to my grave and kneel.

And if your cries are not heard by I—

            Go back home, for you’ll surely die.
