Vala Mal Duran is a lot like Mara Jade. She's aggressive and fun but she doesn't open up to easily. She is one of the new character's on StarGate SG-1 and plays opposite Daniel Jackson, who in many ways 'used' to be very similar to Luke Skywalker (I personally like Daniel better than Luke; but i'm not dissing the Jedi).
