The Jedi
Yoda
Yoda was around 900 years old when he died. He had served on the Jedi council with the Old Rpublic and was the last Jedi alive to do so. He helped train Luke and countless others of the ways of the force. He tested Anakin, and because Anakin failed would not allow his training. Until Obi-Wan took him as a padawan, as he had promised QuiGon Jinn he would.
He lived the last of his life on Dagobah.
Obi-Wan Kenobi
Obi-Wan Kenobi was Lukes friend, trainer and mentor. Because he had failed in training Lukes father, Anakin. Obi-Wan left the serious training to Yoda. Obi-Wan was killed by Darth Vader, Anakin Skywalker, inside the first Death Star.
Luke Skywalker
Luke Skywalker was raised by uncle and aunt, Owen and Beru Lars. His uncle bought a droid who was in search of Obi-Wan Kenobi and went looking for him. Luke found the droid, but was attacked by tusken raiders. Obi-Wan saved his life the started him on the path of the force. Luke destroyed the first Death Star and aided in the detruction of the second. He also brought His father Anakin out of the Dark side. He has done countless good deeds and and now trains young Jedi.
