If you like comedies, movies with good endings, movies with good character development, and you just like to laugh, then Legally Blonde is a good movie for you.
If you despise laughing, hate it when the protagonist conquers all, and dislike movies that do not portray the legal system 100 percent correctly, you should most likely skip seeing this movie.
Witherspoon plays Elle, a blonde California girl who gets ditched by her boyfriend. In desperation to win him back, she follows him to Harvard Law.
It doesn't sound like much of a story, does it? However, this movie is incredibly funny. The characters change and grow, and you walk out of the theater feeling good about the ending.
So the legal "jargon" or "proceedings" aren't exactly 100 percent accurate. If you are so concerned about that type of thing while seeing this movie, you have probably walked into the wrong theater. Go see the Rainmaker, or better yet, stay home and watch reruns of the practice if you are concerned about those little details. The reason you go to this movie is to laugh.
I gave this movie four out of five stars. I would have given it a perfect score, but I am very stingy with my stars... :-).
