This was done on July 4 2002. I got inspired as my family watched pops goes the forth, and I was still breaking in my new colored pencils (see pink bar maid) so I thought why not? I just love the way fabric moves and bends, but usally I'm not too good at capturing it. My mom, who sews for a living and who has made me many a dress in her day, thinks it looks really realistic, well as realistic as you can get in purple. She originally was going to be holding the hand of a shy young boy, but hey things never work out like you plan. *shrugs shoulders* I like it anyway, maybe not the hand, but over all.
