Pathways

Two roads diverged in a sunset wood

And I took the one less traveled

And although life transvered

From dreadful to worse

I made my decision and did not turn back.

I know the road I took was hardest of all

For I have seen both at their worst

I journeyed both and stayed on one

By choice, not by fate

Although that made a difference

It had no impact

For difference is only in adversity

While kindness is strength

To look and see both roads

And to understand

I remembered, I grasped

My present, my past

And the two roads converged

In my future
