Here you can download my addiction,
Mah-Jongg

Mah-Jongg is a game played by Chinese people or something. I don't know much about it, other than that we all play it in computer class when we're supposed to be typing, but nobody really cares. All I know is that it's really addicting and I'm hooked. I'll give you a brief summary on how to play if you want.

But first, my one friend Maresa wanted to play it one day but it wasn't on her computer, so she went on-line and looked up "Mah-Jongg" online, and it pulled up a site on how there's a cruise and when you go on it, all you do is play Mah-Jongg. Me and her were both really scared.

How to play: Basically you have to pair up all 144 tiles. There's a systemmatic way of doing it though; you have to get rid of the tiles on top but at the same time free up the ones on the side. There's only one catch: you can't match up tiles that aren't free on one side. Here's a sample I just made now with the use of my keyboard. Each letter stands for a tile.
D E S H D
E H S D D
Now, you can match any of the D's on the side up, because they are free on one side. However, you can't match up the S's YET because they aren't free. Pretty simple? Try it.

Also, there's certain tiles that can be matched with other tiles that don't match exactly. For instance, the tile set that I play (yes, there's more than one tile set, they have Chinese ones and medivel ones and pirate ones...the list goes on!!) is the road signs one, and in that case you can match up any of the season tiles with any of the other season tiles, and any of the weird beaded like tiles with any of the other weird beaded like tiles. Just a word of warning. Okay, here's the link, download and enjoy! FYI, this file is only like 239k, so it won't take long to download.

MAH-JONGG!!!!!!

In the meantime, why don't you read the lyrics to "Blister in the Sun" by the Violent Femmes. It's a really cool song.

When I'm out walking I strut my stuff yeah I'm so strung out
I'm high as a kite I just might stop to check you out
let me go on like I blister in the sun
let me go on big hands I know your the one
body and beats I stain my sheets I don't even know why
my girlfriend she's at the end she is starting to cry
let me go on like I blister in the sun
let me go on big hands I know your the one...

Now wasn't that nice....click here to go back to the main page.
