Blogging the world of sports, focusing mostly on football and baseball. From the perspective of a Steelers/Yankees fan.
Opening weekend...with the Steelers routing the Browns

But what else is new, right? The funny part is that their fans really thought they'd win. Which, I guess, whatever. You're supposed to think you'll win if it's a home game for you. I didn't get a chance to experience the game in any way, however. Usually, I can tune into FOX 970 out of Pittsburgh over the internet, but the broadcast cut to something else a couple of minutes in. That's never happened before. I guess the NFL is cracking down on that sort of thing, which is ridiculous. They have this thing called Field Pass, but seriously? You shouldn't have to pay for internet radio. Especially since internet radio as a whole is pretty much dead anyway.

Anywho. We still won. Ben had a passer rating of 114, with 4 TDs and no interceptions. That's what we all like to see, and I hope we see more of that next week against Buffalo. Yeah, that's right. Buffalo. Their fans actually think they'll take over Heinz Field next week. Sure, guys. You just keep thinking that. They also think they're going to beat us, which is certainly possible. Anything is possible on Sundays during football season. Especially after the heartbreaker against Denver today - the Bills will be out for blood. The Steelers should be ready. This is me being practical. That is all.
