NFL Draft, Day 2

Well, RB Michael Bush is gone to the Oakland Raiders, so I wonder what we do. We still need some O-line help, although the TE pick in round 3 is making more sense now, as he can play tackle. Interesting.

Round 4, the Steelers select Baylor punter Daniel Sepulveda with their first of two picks in the round. Good, something we need, as Chris Gardocki is getting up there. Love him, but his days are sadly numbered.

WR Ryne Robinson, from Miami (Ohio) is going to Carolina. I mention this, because his highlights show action against the University at Buffalo. Which I did not need to see. Thanks, NFL Network. We already know we suck.

With their second pick in round 4, the Steelers select DE Ryan McBean, who happens to be a pass rusher. This adds depth behind the Deisel, Brett Kiesel. It's now round 5 - definitely going faster than yesterday.

With their first of two picks in round 5, the Steelers select Rutgers guard Cameron Stephenson. Good, an O-line pick. A little late to trade Faneca now, though. He'll probably just play out his last year and then go elsewhere. Too bad, really. Would miss him if he left, but he's obviously not happy here. And with the second pick in the fifth round, they select CB William Gay. Probably in case Ricardo Colclough doesn't pull through again. This might also help the return game, and would definitely help cover opposing WRs. I think we're all tired of seeing our CBs get burned for touchdowns. Of course, seeing that he's only 5'10...we may still be burned.

It seems the Steelers traded away their 6th round pick to move up in the fourth so that they could get Sepulveda. So they don't pick again until the seventh round.

Some dude from SUNY Albany just got drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles. SUNY Albany and going pro. Holy shit, y'all.

Round 7, finally the Steelers' last pick - WR Dallas Baker, "Touchdown Maker." Hope he lives up to his nickname, as the draft ends for us. But the Sabres game has gone into overtime, so I think I'll watch that instead of finishing off the draft. Later, all.
