Four Downs on this Monday, the 14th of August

Yeah, a little late. Part of me forgot. I guess the other part was waiting to see how the Steelers would do against the Cardinals. Anyway, here's an exceptionally late exclusive football edition of Four Downs.
- Matt Leinart is still holding out. And Denny Green is getting impatient. Rightfully so. I don't think rookies should be allowed to hold out - especially for two weeks, as Leinart has done. Players should have to prove themselves in the NFL before they start asking for higher pay.
- The Steelers lost to the Cardinals, 21-13, on Sunday. But they still looked good. Especially Ben - in his one series. I think Coach was worried about him escaping a sack and getting hurt in the process, but everything turned out fine. Is September 7th here yet?
- Jerome Bettis has refueled the Cowher retirement rumors - and Coach isn't happy about it. He says his relationship with Jerome isn't damaged, which is good. Unfortunately, Jerome's a media guy now. But I hope he realizes who his friends are. Just sayin'.
- Linebacker Junior Seau has retired. I'm guessing he's retired as a Charger, although I'm not sure when they picked him up again. The Dolphins picked him up in `04, and released him this past March. He had an amazing career, and is sure to end up in Canton.
