  • As training camp is starting around the NFL, deals are being reached with 1st round picks left and right. Among the high-profile picks, deals have been reached with Denver first-rounder Jay Cutler, Green Bay first-rounder AJ Hawk, and Tennessee first-rounder Vince Young.
  • The Pittsburgh Steelers reported to camp today. Pundits in the sports world believe that many questions surround the defending Super Bowl champions, and while they have a point, there's no real reason to worry. According to Yahoo! Sports, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is looking healthy, and the team is ready to roll. They even showed up to camp in restored cars from the 1970's, as if they were ready to prove that they could evenly match up with the 1970's dynasty. And they could. Seriously.
  • American Floyd Landis, the winner of this year's Tour de France, has tested positive for performance enhancing drugs, due to elevated testosterone levels. They're going to do a second test, but already everyone is convinced that Landis cheated. Why people can't wait until the results of the second test come out, I don't know.
  • Rumors are out and about that Barry Bonds may soon be leaving San Francisco. He could be headed back to Pittsburgh, even though he has denied reports that he would. He's in the final year of a five-year, $90 million contract with the Giants.
