Four Downs on this Friday, the 16th of June

- I haven't shown much of an interest in the NBA finals. I haven't shown much interest in the NBA, period. But it looks like we have a series. The Heat evened up with the Dallas Mavericks last night by winning, 98-74. The series is now tied at 2-2. I'm kind of hoping Miami will win it all. But when it all comes down to it...I just don't care.
- Big Ben apologizes to the Steeler Nation. It's good to know that he's going to be fine, and that he's learned from this. The statement he gave was about as far from T.O.'s unscripted BS as you could get. Even Carson Palmer thinks everyone should get off Ben's back. We should write that one down. It's not often that I agree with Carson Palmer.
- Plaxico Burress, on the other hand...hasn't changed much. My brother, a Giants fan, said to me the other day that no one on the Giants would ever do anything stupid - even Plaxico. Hey, dude? He was a Steeler for four years. I, along with every other Steelers fan, was witness to his stupidity. He's far from perfect, and his recent actions show that he's going to be far from perfect for a long time yet. With Plax, it's all about Plax, and it always has been. I wonder when the Giants will see that, if they haven't already.
- Looks like Randy Johnson may be in need of anger management classes. But then, we already knew that. I'd still like to know what Eduardo Perez did to piss him off. I'm amused at how they suspended him 5 games - that's about the period of time that the pitching rotation covers, so he won't miss a start. Smart tactical move on...somebody's part.
