Pirates fans are pissed off. And rightfully so. A short time ago, I was informed that, due to bad management, the Pirates haven't won a playoff game since around 1990. I was six at the time. This is pretty bad. A team with the best ballpark in Major League baseball and the 2006 All-Star game (to which none of them are going), among other things, is arguably the worst team in baseball. So Pirates fans have taken matters into their own hands: Iratefans.com.

They created their website, because they've "grown `tired of losing,' fed up with `having the best park and the worst owners,' annoyed by finding our team and ourselves the butt of jokes and the objects of pity." And "We Will"? According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, it does not mean exactly what the ownership thinks it means. (Inconceivable!) To Pirates fans, the Irate fans, "We will" will mean nothing until the day the McClatchy Empire is no longer in charge.
