Bejiita "Kitera" Saika's Character Profile
Side note: This profile takes place on a post-Koola movie 1 timeline. Just to set up the previous plotline and where story-wise she would be placed by this profile.

Physical Traits: Saika isn't quite as short as her midget older brother, and she prides in being taller than him. In fact, it's just one more thing she enjoys to make fun of him for.
Saika, on Earth known as Kitera or Kit, doesn't have much fat on her body considering her heritage. For the most part, she is all muscle, despite her feminine appearance. While she doesn't looked as toned as say, Son Gohan or Kakarotto or Beji, her muscles are very well defined for a female and highly solid. The proportion of her muscle tone is very evenly spread through her body because of the training and the fights she has had to put herself through. Physical demands, per the nature of her race and all the BS she put up with, were what made her into the strong Saiya-jin she is.
Atop her head is the thick, black hair she had forced to grow down. As a chibi, her hair was the typical gravity-defying style of most Saiya-jins (though mostly amongst the males of the race). The reason was mostly due to her family. By the time she was a teenager, Saika had forced her hair to finish its growth down instead of up, and thusly her hair hangs down in a thick, unkempt mass. XD Her eyes are also of typical Saiya-jin genetics- black. The only time these features ever change is if she were to transform into Suupa Saiya-jin, when her hair would spike itself upwards and turn golden blonde, while her eyes become an aqua-turquoise.
Saika is probably one of the only remaining full-blooded Saiya-jins to still have her tail, and it's also one of the few things she prides herself on. Though she declares no pride in the race itself, she is glad to know that the simple fact of still having her brown tail affords her another area of taunting to her brother due to his lack of his. For the most part, the way her tail moves (or doesn't, depending on the mood/situation) can indicate her mood better than her facial expressions or the tone of her voice. Every once in a while the tip of the tail will simply twitch a couple of times, but usually it's quite still. While most times she has it wrapped protectively around her waist, she will sometimes allow it to uncurl and sway behind her.
The Saiya-jin princess really could care less about her overall physical appearance and the way she looks to other people. Unfortunately, the fact that while on Earth-sei she does reside at Capsule Corp, she wears clothing similar to that of Mirai Torankusu- except that her shirt will actually show her midriff (and toned abs, for that matter). She does not wear Saiya-jin amour. In fact, since arriving on Earth-sei, she outright refuses to. She finds no point to it, and writes it off as just one more way to keep similarities between herself and her runt of a brother to a minimum. Instead, if training, she would wear something similar to Kakarotto (or chibi Torankusu), but in black. Also, being that she is full-blooded Saiya-jin, her hair is not really prone to growing much, and so trimming it is not necessary. She doesn't bother to brush it, because of its thickness and coarseness, and because she really doesn't care enough. It stays out of her eyes for battle, and that's all that matters to her.
Outfit: (see above para) The only portion of her Saiya-jin wardrobe that she chooses to keep are her shoes because she has yet to find a pair on Earth that she actually thinks are comfortable and practical to her needs. (She does her fair share of training just so she can stay ahead of her brother.)
Techniques/Skills: The first obvious one would the plain and simple fact that she is more than 10x stronger than any Earthling human. Being a level 2 Suupa Saiya-jin affords such advantages.. other than just being Saiya-jin in general. No basic activity is difficult and if she wanted to say, cut down a tree, she basically has to just poke the damn thing. XD! A swift stomp to the ground and Kit could stop traffic for days with the crater. Because of her background, every aspect of fighting is well balanced- as it should be for her to have survived so long. Her speed is exceptional, due to the fact that she spent alot of time outrunning Koola's minions. And unlike the basic members of her race, Saika has no weakness to the grabbing of her tail. Like her brother, she developed an immunity to it. Yanking it, however, would hurt like hell and the first person to attempt it she is sure to rip their arms off. ~_~;
Kit knows a couple of different fighting styles. Not only is she a master of the basic Saiya-jin style, but she picked up during her travels and time within Koola's army the styles of a couple of other races. Does she use them? Of course not! She creates her own by melding them all together because honestly she couldn't keep them straight in her mind anyway.
Another basic pride she has is the fact that she can perform, without problem, any one of Bejiita's signature attack moves. Not only that, but emulating Kakarotto and his offspring (as well as Yamucha and Kuririn), she could- if she really wanted- perform the Kame Hame Ha. Most of the time she just doesn't because then she has to deal with ignoring ridicule from Beji. Again, an obvious observation from the fact of her genetics and background would prove that she is quite proficient at ki manipulation. Rarely, however, will she use it. Why? She likes to conserve her energy for long drawn out fights instead of fire off a Renzoku Energy Dan (maching gun ki blast) and drain herself like that baka she's related to. However, any basic Saiya-jin ki manipulation is a piece of cake for her. Whether or not she uses it is entirely up to the situation. One technique she does know before having arrived at Earth-sei was a variant of Shunkan Idou. Will she admit it? Hell no. Will she use it? Probably not.
The only current personalized attack I've bothered to think up for her so far is a variant of the Kame Hame Ha. It takes into account the Galick Ho as well. Sora Kesa Da (or American-ized would be Sorakesada) is a controlled, manipulatable, and focused ki blast that is highly powerful- if she puts enough into it. Point-blank range could prove deadly is she were serious when charging it. Long range shows its usefulness since she can alter the direction of the blast once it's been fired. As well, she can add a "stalking" ability to it so that the ki will actually follow the target until it strikes either them or something they just dodged at the last possible second. XD
As previously stated, Kitera is a level 2 Suupa Saiya-jin. Knowing full well that Beji, Kakarotto and the other half-breeds were level 1 spurred her to reach the coveted transformation. Well, that and a desire to stay alive in the galaxy. The fact that she was able to reach level 2 was a mere product of training, rage, and well.. pride. What little she actually does have. While level 1 is finally getting easy for her to get to (since she doesn't do all that often), level 2 is a bitch and thusly she won't go that high unless absolutely necessary- and given a slight bit of time.
~*Non-fighting Skills*~
Intelligence and memory are two strong points for Saika. They had to be- it was the only way to stay above the low ranks in the army, and also the best way escape the minions that were sent after her. (Most of the time they weren't the brightest bunch and all she had to do was know their weakness.) The same time, she had to remember what the enemy's strong and low points were whenever she was sent on a mission- especially one by herself.
For the most part, she never bothered to learn other languages. Within the army, one universal langauge was spoken- and that was because Koola wanted it that way. Speaking a native language was not allowed, for obvious reasons. She can, however, speak Saiya-jin if she really wanted to. She picks up Japanese pretty fast after arriving on Earth-sei, but otherwise doesn't speak it much. She also knows English.
Family: King Bejiita was her father, her mother she oddly didn't really know. He was killed by Furiiza when she was 3. Unfortunately for her (at least as she sees it), that makes Purinsu Bejiita her older brother by 3 years. At this point, she isn't always quick to admit the relation, but sometimes will blurt it - and it ends up an easy explanation for her attitude. She also has a younger sister named Celeb whom she met after being on Earth-sei for a while.
Personality: ((This is definitely gonna be BS'd.)) Ever since she was little, Saika for the most part kept to herself. New places don't entirely interest her since she's been to too many planets to count. Or at least.. in some cases they *were* planets.. *cough* However, she can be quick to analyze her surroundings and process it to memory, in case she should ever find herself needing to know anything about the area in a dire situation.
Being a member of Koola's army, as well as the shit she dealt with on Bejiita-sei in her entire 3 years of life on there, she developed into being quite a smartass at times. Sarcasm is never far from the tone in which she speaks, and rhetorical questions can be shot right and left if she is really irritated. Barely will she easily trust someone, and the degree to which she keeps to herself on most things is very high. She will never talk about her background- at least not the truth of it. So don't bother to try to pry it from her. If provoked, she can have quite an attitude, and can very well be a bitch. She is also prone to speak her mind on occasion, whether her opinion is wanted or not.
Unlike most of her race, she is not as arrogant and does not undyingly cling to a pride of her heritage. This is an aspect highly recognizable especially in her runt brother, but not something to be found from her. She doesn't care as much. She recognized long ago that her race was practically extinct, and that they weren't the almighty greatest race in the universe anyways. This is probably one of the reasons she survived so long by herself. Her personal ego is also not over inflated- unless she's sparring a family member- but should it get big, she usually keeps it in check. She does not allow pride nor ego to get in the way of her fighting. Unlike Beji.
Saika does not usually display much outward emotion. Her tail is usually the best way to determine her mood since it's rare for her to show it. This was because of the time she spent in the Ice-jin's armies and because she doesn't always want people to know if she's upset or the like. So expect little to no expression from her. Unless of course she's smirking while taunting her brother. XD
Saika can be quite reserved when she wants to be. If in some new place with lots of other beings, she tends to stick to herself and be quiet, humbly observing. (Though sometimes she can feel that too many people in the same room can be way too overcrowded.) When she is approached by someone she doesn't know, she can be quite defensive and quick to be irritable. She does not like people to invade her personal space when she doesn't know who they are or what they want.
Interests: The only interest she ever has usually has something to do with fighting. Because she is a full-blooded Saiya-jin, she revels in the prospect of a spar or an upcoming fight. Training isn't far from her mind, either, unless she's really not in the mood for it. However, if she's only sparring, she doesn't tend to go all out unless absolutely necessary. Yet if provoked, she will not hesitate to put everything she has into her end of the battle- her philosophy is that if you get hurt, it's your own damn fault for provoking her that far. XD
Saika does not find much interest in the things she comes across on Earth-sei. She especially hates "malls" because of having to be in a confined space with a mass amount of Earthlings. Thusly, she avoids them at all costs. (though getting dragged there can happen) The concept of "watching TV" doesn't interest her in the least, as she'd much rather sit outside in a tree and enjoy the peacefulness than watch some bad human acting on a screen, or something of the sort.
History: ((Yeeah... this'll be half-assed..)) Saika was born on Bejiita-sei an entire 3-4 years before its destruction by Furiiza. During those three years, she couldn't possibly have heard any more about how great her brother was supposed to be, blah blah. She was born as the Saiya-jin Purinsesu, her older brother being none other than the arrogant, egotistical Purinsu Bejiita. While she figures he wouldn't really remember her, she knows well enough about him from that time, but tended to stay away from him.
Before she departed from Bejiita-sei, she visited by some of the newborn Saiya-jins. The one which stood out the most to her was Kakarotto. In her mind, she wished he would prove the entire race wrong in their system of determining who was elite and who wasn't based from basic power level at birth. Whether he would recognize her at all is probably a negative, as she is aware that he does not remember anything about being a Saiya-jin.
The only thing she has to prove that she is a member of the royal family is the pendant around her neck which has the royal crest engraved on it. It is one similar to her father's, but it includes the crest that appeared on her armor as well. She does not, however, proudly display it. Instead, it is hidden underneath her clothing, out of view. She did this because once off Bejiita-sei, she learned of the extreme unpopularity of her race.
Blah blah blah...time moves on. When sent from Bejiita-sei, she ended up in Koola's army instead of Furiiza's. The reasons? Who the hell knows? *shrug* Whatever the damned reasons are ((gimme time to figure it out..like...oh, another year or so..)), having to deal with the stronger and more arrogant of the two Ice-jin brothers was not high on the list of "funness". Basically, she dealt with a lot more shit than Bejiita, Nappa and Radditsu would've been given.
Saika had to prove herself within that army to stay above the "low ranks". Time and again was she tested, taunted, and pushed aside. The only upside to it all was that when she had the opportunity, she could easily track what her brother was up to over in Furiiza's side of the universe.
At about the time Bejiita would've gone to Earth for the first time, Saika had had enough and deserted Koola's army. Needless to say, this wasn't a good thing in the mind of the Ice-jin and his upper-level minions. She spent a lot of time running and fighting, upping her power level way beyond what it had been before.
Around Furiiza's first death by Kakarotto, she also discovered the level 1 Suupa Saiya-jin state. Thrilled with the discovery, she trained on many planets of varying gravity degrees- mostly when she had some "peaceful" time to herself. It would also be about this time that she would've learned Shunkan Idou. ((And whatta ya know, NOT from the same planet Kakarotto learned it! This I can't explain at this moment in time, so once again, gimme another year and I'll figure it out..))
More random crap happens, and we enter the time period after Koola is killed (the first time). This would be when Saika, who now calls herself "Kitera" to further distance her past and royal relation from herself, ends up going to Earth-sei. Why? Cuz she wants to spar Kakarotto and see if she can learn anything useful from him and stuff. That and to bother her brother every once in a while. ((Sibling arguments are just so much fun. XD ))
She learns level 2 for Suupa Saiya-jin after a bit of time and more training and all that fun crap. ^^;;
