Celipa's Character Profile
Side note: This was from the same Gaia AU DBZ literate RPG that I played Reishi in. Again, it all took place on Bejiita-sei in an AU setting.
Name: Celipa (Seripa)
Race: Saiya-jin
Age: 35-ish, based upon a possible age of 37 for Bardock
Class desired: 3rd
Bio: Celipa grew up with the typical life of a third class Saiya-jin. Train, go on missions for Furiiza-sama, return, repeat process. Because of her low class, her missions were pretty mundane. She never felt she did anything to stand out- until she joined a team led by Bardock. Once with Bardock and the other members, the missions she went on she almost looked forward to. The antics of her team members made the grotesque job of planet-clearing more enjoyable; besides, one never knew what sort of trouble Bardock might end up in next.
As the only female on the team, Celipa often dealt with the "woman" jokes from the other guys, dealing her own thread of sarcastic remarks back at them. She and her teammates steadily increased their ki as the missions continued, though she had to admit that among them Bardock moved up the most. She wasn't one to plant herself directly into a line of fire, but if such an action would help a member of her team in any way she would do so. Over the years of working together, she developed a strong friendship with her teammates.
The female Saiya-jin was aware of the rumors concerning her team and Bardock, but she always shrugged them off. The rumors surrounding her team leader after their mission to Kanassa, however, were not as easy to ignore. Celipa often wonders if the content of the visions Bardock has had was really true, but when nothing happened back then she only pushed it aside as a fluke. Still, in the back of her mind she had a feeling that the fate within the visions would one day surface and that it would be a time when the Saiya-jin didn't expect it.
Appearance: Celipa is much shorter than her companions, but she doesn't care being that she's on equal level with them power-wise. Her hair and eyes are the typical black of Saiya-jin genetics with her hair being cropped short around her head. This short length allowed for ease during battle to prevent her hair from getting in her vision. She wears a pink-ish colored leotard/bodysuit that does not cover her arms nor legs, though a piece of yellow material covers part of her left leg. The armor she wears is only a breastplate that covers front and back with just one shoulder strap, and knee guards. On her feet are the atypical white boots and on her hands she wears gloves. Though a tomboy, earrings adorn her ears. Over her left ear/eye, when on missions, she wears a green-lensed scouter.
Personality: Cynical and sarcastic yet quiet, sentimental yet tough. These are a few of the words that could describe the female Saiya-jin's personality. Most of her thoughts she keeps to herself instead of making them known, and she also doesn't much care for indulging in rumors. Despite being female, she doesn't portray a "womanly" attitude- then again, most Saiya-jin women don't.
Most of her "friendly side" is only seen by the members of her team, and even then she doesn't display it obviously. Few outside of her team, the people she trusts the most, ever see her rare displays of sentimentality. Her sense of humor lies more in a sense of sarcastic remarks she will make mostly towards her teammates, but she will not hesitate to give the same to anyone else if it's deserved.
As a female she shows some indifference to the members of the male half of the race, though some on occasion have been able to pique her interest. She has pride and loyalty not only in her team but also in her race.
