"Who am I? You sure you wanna know? If somebody told you that I was just an average ordinary guy, not a care in the world... somebody lied. Truth is, it wasn't always like this. There were times when life was a lot less complicated." - Peter Parker, Spider-man

Nothin's sure in this world, no no

We can really never tell it all

Sometimes we couldn't just understand
Why good things begin then just end
We can really never have it all
It's been two weeks since I last posted here. Too lazy. Hehehe...

Yesterday was another day with the wizards and witches. We met up to discuss concerns regarding the remaining five Saturdays of the NBS event.
That's it. That's the update. LOL

Today is the graduation of my younger sis. She has just finished B.S. Accountancy in PUP. They're in the PICC right now - my parents, brother, and sister. And where am I? Hehehe... I'm in an internet caf somewhere behind SM Manila. I'm still on my way there. Sarap matulog kanina eh. Sabi ko susunod na lang ako. Oh, today is also the birthday of my no-good brother.

You know what? I like you. I'll just make it stay that way, and I won't go further than that. It's unlikely to happen anyway.

I feel that something in me has changed. But I can't point out what it is.

Today is Holy Wednesday. I've just finished painting the house gate and other stuff. Hehehe.. the house needs a fresh look just in time for Good Friday, since we are holding the Fourth Station of the Cross, Jesus meets His sorrowful mother. The Way of the Cross of the San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish will start at Greenwods Executive Village, then will pass by Pag-ibig Homes, and will end at San Juan Resettlement Village, Taytay.

I'm back.
My whole body still aches as I write this down.
Day 1
Semi-annual Induction Rites of IIEE-MIT at Villa Rowenah, Pansol, Laguna. I got to meet the new members, new officers, new faces, old faces of fellow alumni, and professors. I arrived at 8 pm with Arvin. They already started the hazi.. er.. 'initiation' of the inductees. Come 9 pm, alumni and professors arrived. Unfortunately for me, some of them are those f*cking bastards whom I despise of. After a half hour, the program proper began - the usual oath-taking and presentaion of new members and officers. I closed the program with a rather inspiring message to the newbies (ahahaha). Then it's off to countless cases of Colt's. You know that drinking thing they do in American Pie and Old School, with the funnel and hose? No more! Ahahahaha! The drunken master rises again! Last thing I remember the next morning was swimming in the pool with some girls (wehehe), and hogging the microphone in the ktv.
Day 2
Leadership Training Seminar Part 1. I woke up at 9 am, not remembering how I got to the alumni's room. Most of the people have left the place. Only the new officers and fellow alumni stayed to clean up. I was still woozy as I took a shower while throwing up five times or so. We went straight to a rented private place in Miramonte Village to rest. Thud. My whole body dropped to the bed face down. I remember someone woke me up for lunch but I chose to rather stay in bed for a while. At about 3 pm, I got up just to go straight to the toilet to throw up once again. Then I went back to bed. At 5 pm, I finally woke up feeling less nauseous. After I took a bath, we, the facilitators for the leadership training seminar, discussed the plans for the evening. At half past six, we all had dinner. Then it's off to some serious talks for the new officers. It was almost 3 am when we ended the seminar. We called it a night at almost 5 am. For a measly 40-minute sleep, I was one of the first to get up and take a bath. We all then had breakfast as we packed up.
Day 3
Mountain Hike - LTS Part 2. We, 4 facilitators and 23 new officers, left Miramonte at about 6:30. We arrived at the entrance to Peak 2 of Mt. Makiling. We left our bags in the vehicles and just carried food for lunch and personal belongings. It was a two hour hike to the camp site nearby Mudspring. We rested awhile, then it's another series of activities once again. At 1 pm, we ended the activity and had lunch. Then we went to Mudspring to take pictures. It was my fourth time there, nothing ever changes in that place, of course. We decided to call it a day after going to Flat Rocks and down to the bottom of the mountain. We then drove to the best buko pie place in town to buy pasalubong. It was another long drive again back to Manila. I arrived home past 6 pm. I went straight to my room to have a full rest.
Somehow, I managed to take my mind off some things. Now it's back to the real world again.

Only two more days till relaxation and fun in summer time! :)
My former school organization, IIEE-MIT, will hold its semi-annual Induction Rites at Villa Rowenah, Pansol, Laguna on Saturday to Sunday. It will be attended by an estimate of 250 people, including inductees, active members, alumni, and professors. As an alumnus and its former president, I will be attending the event as a guest and adviser. For three hectic years, I handled the group, organized various activities inside and outside the school. For some reason, I wish I were in it again, never mind the stress and pressure. Come Sunday noon, a handful of former officers, including me, and the incoming officers will be off to a rented place nearby Mt. Makiling for the Leadership Training Seminar. The LTS will be of two parts: a seminar proper at night till midnight, and a mountain hike the next morning, Monday. It will be another barrel of fun, and of course, barrels of drinks as well :D
This three-day vacation is just the start of the series of summer fun for me this year. More swimming parties and outings are expected to happen in La Union with my barkada, in Zamboanga with StarWars Phils, and in Gabe's house with Matrix Phils :) And of course, the upcoming Saturdays will be loads and loads of fun :)

"If you delay living the joys until later, they can fade to almost nothing before you ever experience them.
If you delay addressing the problems until later, they can become far more difficult and imposing by the time you get around to them.
Instead, live life as it comes. Work through the challenges as they appear, and drink in the joys as they come along. If you delay rest and relaxation for too long, you'll grow weary and burned out.
If you delay effort for too long, the best of life's opportunities will pass you by.
Rest when you're tired, and get back on your way when you're rested. Listen to the rhythm of life, and live it as it comes.
Stop waiting for things to get better, or easier, more comfortable or more convenient. Go with what you have here and now. Find the value in each moment, in each situation as it arises, then live that value.
Make the very most of life, each moment as it comes along."
