Kara grew up on Corellia with Jeff Hunter and his brothers, Ian and James, and his sister, Jennifer (code name Tyria). Her parents were CorSec agents; father (Charles Halcyon) was a high ranking officer and mother (Dorthea Halcyon) was a spy. Both parents were killed and Kara critically wounded by Imperials during an attempt to capture smugglers in Corellian space. (The family was undercover and mistaken for smugglers by the Imps.) This happened when Kara was 12. A smuggler, who had grown close to Kara's family during their operation, took the injured teen in, nursed and cared for her until she regained health. Kara stayed with Dicbet Apollonios, learning the ways of the smugglers and continuing her personal training of the Force. She dropped her father's name for fear of bringing dishonor to the family name. The family name was Halcyon and members were related to Corran Horn's family sometime ago. Kara remained in service to Dicbet until she turned 18. She then forged all of her records to show she was Dicbet's daughter and not a Halcyon and returned to Corellia. Upon her return, she ran into Jeff and explained what had happened. She joined CorSec with Jeff and becomes his partner. When CorSec disbanded, Jeff and Kara decided to join the Rebel Alliance.

At this point, Ian is captured at the battle of Hoth, and Jeff keeps his promise to him by marrying Maggie (who is pregnant with Rachel, only Jeff doesn't realize it). Some time down the road, Moff Rickter, Maggie's father finds a way to infultrate Jeff's home and kidnaps Rachel and makes it look like Maggie gets killed. Jeff and Kara search for Rachel, discovering that Maggie is alive and is with the child. Ian is rescued, and he and Jeff go off to rescue Maggie and Rachel. After the rescue, Jeff and Maggie divorce, leaving both single and available to remarry. Kara and Jeff reveal their true feelings for one another, get married and have two children�.Jamie (daughter) and Allen (son).
Personality:
Energetic, very dedicated to the ideals of the Jedi Knights, youthful and sometimes lacking maturity, however for the most part, she is very responsible and disciplined, quiet and observant/Evil, wants nothing more than to destroy anyone who gets in her path to power and glory, willing to use and dispose of anyone she sees fit to obtain her objectives.
