The Ivaea (singular Ivae) are a race of anthropomorphic furred bear like aliens with subtle feline features. They have retractible claws, yellow eyes and thier soft, thick fur ranges in colors from brown to red to white, most being spotted with deep red rosettes though a significant minority are solid colored. They have no tail. Most are five feet tall. They are native to an earthlike world in the Ivau Eta system near the far galactic edge. It has 2 moons, one of which hosts a huge commercial spaceport. They have a simple industrial culture and are govererned by a loose democractic authority. They have excellent relations with several worlds in the A4 Galaxy, the chief of which is Cuaxa. They trade agriculture products, clothing and food for high tech and advanced materials and knowledge.
