| Battlefield Earth: This movie has had many poor reviews from many critics including Roger Ebert. I have to disagree with these critics. Battlefield Earth was a good movie, (not great but good) it has a good cast, and it told a classic story in a very oringinal way. I for one was impressed with the fact that the movie makers took the time to point out that the alien race could not survive in our atmosphere, hence the tubes coming from their noses. In any other movie, they would breath our air just fine. IE: Alien, Predetor, Independence Day, just to name a few.. This is of course an exception to War of the worlds, where the aliens couldn't survive our atmostsphere, but at least the Psyclo's in Battlefield Earth had enough insight to check the atmostsphere first and then come prepaired. My grade for this movie is B- | |||||||||||||||||
