P.E.I. National Park

The central strip of land along the northern coast of P.E.I. has been preserved forever by Parks Canada. It focuses on maintaining the area the way it was when Lucy Maud Montgomery lived there in the 1800's. There are numerous beaches where people swim in the ocean, in addition to a thriving fishing industry.
