The Bay of Fundy

The Bay of Fundy is a body of water separating western Nova Scotia from New Brunswick. It has the highest tides in the world, and some unique water phenomena to match, including tidal bores.

Near the town called Economy, we found a beautiful red shore on the Bay of Fundy's Minas Basin The first lighthouse we saw A large red island coming out of the water as tide goes out - tide is less than half-way out at this point Another red island in the shape of a hut An amazing rocky point near Parrsboro Me standing on the large red island, facing the water A fisherman's weir set out into the water at very low tide
The sculptured red shore Another shore scene, this time with a tiny white row-boat, which gives perspective Another view of the red, sculptured shore Rock sticking out of the landscape covered with seaweed Neat view of the shore taken by placing the camera on the ground
