Dorchester School's third-, fourth- and fifth-grade students received a generous gift of soprano recorders from the WCLEF (Woodcliff Lake Educational Foundation) earlier in the school year.
They are learning to play these wonderful instruments in music class.

4. Have you forgotten the fingering for a particular note? Perhaps you've found sheet music that contains a note you have not yet learned to finger. You'll find a very useful fingering chart here. Simply click on the word "interactive" below!

7. Are you ready to practice playing songs, accompanied by your own computer? To access the proper website, click on the highlighted word "Recorder" below. Make sure your computer's speakers are on. Then follow the link at the left-hand side of the "Recorder Player" page to the section called "The Songs." Click on the name of the song you'd like to play. Print the sheet music first, and then you'll be able to play along with your own personal accompanist!
