This piece was created for a theme competition at the Crescent City Brew House 2003.

although this piece did not receive any awards I did win best of show for Shades of Romance.

The theme was New Orleans Ladies. In this piece obviously the "Queen" with the southern magnolia in her hair, Mardi Gras beads at hand, Fleu de lis as the card symbol, wrought iron, strawberries, shrimp, crawfish, crabs, pelicans, St. Louis Cathedral, Andrew Jackson street lights, street cars and of course watermelon.
