How to make a dew drop.

Plan ahead and leave a white circle the size of your dew drop. Add the dark shadow side (usually a crescent moon shape) and the top rim and part of the sides of the dew drop pulling down the color while working around the highlight (the top 1/3 of dew drop). Since your pigment went around the highlight take a clean damp brush and pull the pigment down to the shadow. Pulling down the pigment with clean damp brush will fade out the color. Practice! Practice!

or Recapture the spot for your dew drop in by using a drop of clean water in the area you want your dew drop. Take a Q-tip and remove some of the pigment by creating a white spot. Do not rub to hard as to damage the paper. Now grab a absorbent paper towel and remove more pigment. Let this dry. Once your paper is dry you are now at the same stage as if you planned ahead.

Tip if you are having trouble take a leaf from outside add a drop of water on the leaf and study it.
