I live on a farm in South Africa. We breed Brahman stud cattle.

My home language is Afrikaans but, like most South Africans, I am bilingual. At school we are taught in both English and Afrikaans

My favourite sport is Rugby. In primary school I played in the First XV which won the Transvaal (Golden Lions) Championship.In South Africa we play rugby barefoot in primary school. Actually, we go to school and just about everywhere else barefoot! In my high school we have too few to play 15 c man rugby so we play Sevens instead.

My other sport until recently was Gymnastics. I have won Transvaal and Gauteng Provincial Colours several times. Last year I won a South African Championship! With school and rugby I don't have the time for Gymnastics anymore.

I also like Gamebird Shooting and surfing the Internet.
