I came to United States on June 16, 2005 through a fiance visa. I lived in CALIFORNIA where a lot of filipinos are residing. It was a lot different living here, in U.S.A. compare to my country, Philippines but I tried to adjust in every way I can to be flexible and able to deal with different people with different cultures and traditions. There were times that I felt like I had no one but myself and wished to go back home but through my prayers I've stayed. I visited some of the STATES in U.S.A. like ILLINOIS, NEVADA, TEXAS, WISCONSIN, VIRGINIA, and MARYLAND.
For my 3 yrs. here, I had worked in 6 companies. I've been a cashier, accounting associate, teller, and even worked in fast food making salads. I enjoyed my job esp. meeting different types of people from different race. To the people who knew me and have helped me through anything (too many to mention)... THANKS for your support.
I've learned a lot of lessons since I came to U.S.A. but one thing I can't forget is ... to LIVE LIFE with the spirit of GOD's blessings to the FULLEST because afterall LIFE is so SHORT and despite of painful experiences, I'm still living in this BEAUTIFUL WORLD.
Here are some pictures I can share with you ... enjoy! |
