I was in Taiwan April 1, 1997 to April 1, 2000. I had a 3 yr contract in one of the best computer company named ACER, Inc. I worked as a Customer Quality Assurance and become a Quality Control Line Leader after 2 yrs.
Taiwan is such a nice country with nice people. I've learned to be more independent while I was there. I befriended a lot of Filipino workers and Taiwanese. I've learned to speak their language since I had to deal with Taiwanese workers (few of them speak English) everyday so I didn't have much of a choice but to learn their language, huh!
It was a wonderful experience working in ACER, INC. Cheers to Taiwan, R.O.C. Too bad, foreign workers could only work there for at most 3 yrs.
