Nutrition
Finding the right diet is a vital responsiblity for any pet owner.  If you want to be responsible for somethings life, you've got to also be responsible for its health, and that includes feeding it a balanced, healthy diet aimed at promoting optimal health.  As a dog lover and owner, I have spent considerable time researching into dog nutrition.  I want my dogs to live as happily and healthily, and as long as possible and one of the prime factors to ensuring that is for a good diet to be fed daily.  I hope I can share my knowledge with you and help you chose the best possible diet for your dog.

The following topics will be expanded on when I find the time, my page is still in its early days so please be patient!!!  Bookmark this page and check back at a later date :o)
Commercial Kibbles and Canned foods - Will look at kibbles, which brands are superior, better solutions, why tinned food should be avoided at all costs, and the problems arising from feeding a highly processed, unvaried diet.
BARF - Will look at why BARF is the best way to feed, backed up with evidence from my own personal testimonys with my dogs.
Home Cooked - Will look at the alternative way of feeding, home cooked, why it may not be as preferable as BARF, and why some people chose to feed it.
The BARF diet - Will explore components of the BARF diet, with information on how to create a balanced diet including Raw Meaty Bones, Offal, Fish, Eggs, Grains (and why some people chose not to feed them, as well as the dangers of feeding in excess), Supplements (why not to use synthetic supplements, how to get vitamins and minerals as part of the diet in the form of whole, natural foods), Yoghurt, Apple Cider Vinager, Garlic, Kelp, Spirulina and Brewers Yeast.  Will also include sample diets for dogs of different sizes ie how I feed my dogs.
