COLOR ON FABRIC:   SILK PAINTING

I've been painting on silk since 2003, and these are a few of the many designs I've created. No two are alike, of course, and that's the beauty of it. Of course it helps that it's impossible to make an ugly silk scarf, no matter how hard you try. And that frees up my creativity no end. Finally I can put down my most feeble idea, and it comes out magnificently. Truly there must be a whole clan of silk-painting friendly fairies doing the work while my back is turned, because I am constantly amazed at how beautiful color is on silk.
