Charles was born in Breckinridge Co, KY, southeast of Evansville, Indiana. Son of Walter JARBOE and Prudence Ann BLAND. He married Julious Nolte ALLEN, daughter of Scott ALLEN and Martha DEAN.
They lived in Midway, Indiana from about 1908 to after 1915. ( Beulah is buried is buried there in Gwaltney Cemetery, dying of Congenital Debility . The unnamed male is also buried there, dying from pre-mature birth ) .
Charles and Julious divorced. He never remarried. She married Herbert JOLLY . Later Charles is living in Indianapolis, Indiana, in Fountain Square area by 1955. He was illiterate and told me that he went to school for 2 days, " Didn't like it and quit " .
He worked for Bemis Bag in Indianapolis. Charles smoked a pipe, used a cane. Always wore his hat and took a drink anytime it was free. ( That's the way he put it). He always dressed nice and was a friendly person. He loved a good joke and tall stories. Everyone liked him.
Charles was Catholic. He died of Pneumonia at 242 N Rural St, Indianapolis, Marion Co, Indiana, and is buried at Holy Cross Cemetery in Indianapolis.
