What is a Word Processor?
"A word processor is a computer program that provides special capabilities beyond that of a text editor and usually provides a graphical user interface. The term originated to distingish editors that were "easey to use" from concentional text editors and to suggest that the program was more that just an "editor." An early user of this term was Wang, which made a popular workstation system designed especially for secretaries and anyone else who created buisness letters and other documents."
Why Would Buisnesses Use Word Processor?
Buisnesses use word processor because they need to take notes, and make letters, etc. When you are part of a buisness you need to sometimes make banners, buisness letters, charts and tables showing the money invested in the buisness, buisness cards and envolopes, you can make mail merge letters and also on the newer versions of microsoft word you can make web pages.
