This uniform is said to have been worn from the 1700's in the war against Poland and Lithuania.-It is a cavalry uniform c.1851 ? aged 18 years ?
Gustav Klein born 16th May 1833 Eylau,now Bagrationousk, Parish of Konigsberg, now Kalingrad East Prussia,(Ostpreussen) son of Carl Louis Klein a merchant, and Johanna Arnold and is believed to have sailed to Port Melbourne, Victoria, Australia in 1857 on the "House of Paul" a barque ?

Co. Cork, Ireland, daughter of Lieutenant William Norman Wade R.N. who was the coast guard officer at Garnish Station, Skibbereen, Co. Cork, Ireland on the 29th October 1854 and Margaret O'SULLIVAN.)
