To tell you a little something.
I am New Jersey made. California Raised, with a touch of southern bell; having lived in New Albany, Indiana and Louisville, KY.
I AM OVERCOMING OBSTCLES AND HELPING OTHERS TO DO THE SAME.
A strong hard working back ground since age 14 starting with my first summer job in California with the CETA program (painting classrooms, the gym and such at my school)and learning the value of things the hard way since my Mom had me start paying rent at that age to help out as she was struggling on her own with my sister and I. I had to pay for anything and everything extra I needed personally. Under those cercumstances such as the rude reality of today...I managed to save nothing.
I married young to a man 13 years older than myself and found I was still more mature and more responsible than him. Learning also the hard way that you really only have yourself to count on and of your own capabilities. I found myself going from a boring housewife dependant on my husband for everything; who was producing nothing but debt, to a person working two jobs, trying to buy a home and build a life with someone who seemed to have no future desires. I was not growing in my marriage, but more importantly I was not growing as an individual to be all that I could and to share with others the qualities God has given me. Soon I was on the road of life alone to start my own struggles. I worked many years in the food and beverage industry starting from a fast food restaurant called Druther's in New Albany, IN; branching out into many other types of restaurants including Mexican, family style, Steak houses and all the way up to a 5-star Gourmet seafood restaurant called Sinbad's at The Trump Taj Mahal in the casino/hotel business in Atlantic City, NJ for Donald Trump.
Finally, starting to do better, establish some roots and save--I thought I was doing good and on track according to standards...or so we are told. But then misfortune came. I WILL BE SHARING MY STORY LATER MORE BECAUSE I DO NOT WANT TO SEE PEOPLE GO THROUGH WHAT I DID AND THE Bottom LINE IS..when you physically can't work the hours and demands as dictated by being an employee--you make no hourly wage. How do you live? We are taught to go to school, go on to college if we can and get a good job and live within our means. We are not taught how to expand our means or what eventually happens when we can no longer physically produce as an employee. THE SO-CALLED SYSTEM CERTAINLY DOES NOT PROVIDE ENOUGH EITHER TO MAKES ENDS MEET. AND WHAT THEY CALLED THE GOLDEN YEARS FOR OUR ELDERLY FOLKS IS A JOKE. MY HEART CRYS OVER THAT ONE.
WE MUST RESTRUCTURE OUR THINKING AND HOW WE DO THINGS.
It is quite simple really the concept that so many are learning and the reason you are starting to see more homebased businesses.
