We really miss her. She was our loyal friend and part of the family for seven years. She was hit by a car
New Years Eve in a couple of towns over from us. Not a great way to start of the new millenium. She was frightened by the fireworks and bolted. We knew something was wrong when she didn't come home a few hours later. We searched for two days and plastered the towns around us with signs. The next morning a kind German farmer called and told us that he'd buried her New Years morning. He showed us where a few days later and had kept her collar. He chose a nice spot on a hill in some woods and we put up a cross for her. We'll always miss her.
