Years Go On We Wait

Over the years I have learnt many things
Life begins each day I wake .
I hold on to the light of each day because with darknes comes the end.
I look back at my day and find many thing I wish I could change
If only we could pick and choose the things that made our days perfect
I would ask take me back but I know I must look to the new day
I have inside me a heart of gold and I try to share it with the world.
Part of me is always waiting for the key to a new door
and I keep feeling the door will become visable soon.
I must go on no matter the obstacles or the pain
I must keep sharing my life with the ones the matter until it is my time.
Each day I pick myself up with legs that are strong and a will to live.
I know I can walk thru life with a smile because
I know you are out there someplace
Are You the love of my life my soul mate the door way
of happiness I wait for.
