Attended Greenworld Design Conference, two-day conference on sustainable design. Major Projects Lynnwood Civic Center and Library Drafted reflected ceiling plan, electrical plan, floor plans and furniture plan. Woodinville City Hall created organizational chart and adjacency study matrix utilizing Adobe Page Maker. | HNTB Corporation, Bellevue, Washington Position: Civil Engineering Cadd Technician, Interior Design Practicum Responsibilities: Lead Cadd technician for projects utilizing MicroStation, IRASC, IRASB and AutoCAD Map. Created plot configuration files, organized plotting procedures, created cell libraries and organized production procedures and standards. HNTB had just purchased MicroStation Triforma in 1999 before I left and I was beginning to learn this software. Major Projects Army Corp of Engineers: (Metric) Lead MicroStation Designer for Army Corp of Engineers Facility. Project involved designing all interior spaces and floor plans for offices, barracks, and reception areas. Deliverables were large books of plans, elevations, sections, details and material boards. Metro Light Rail: (Metric) Lead MicroStation technician for major Light Rail Project in Seattle. Compiled standards manuals and production procedures as well as coordinated with subcontractors. Responsible for coordinating drafting for 10 engineers and 6 cadd operators. Deliverable was 600 plan sheets of civil engineering drawings. |

| Sverdrup Civil Inc, Bellevue, Washington Position: Environmental Specialist and Civil Engineering Cadd Technician Responsibilities: Lead Cadd technician for projects utilizing MicroStation, IRASC and IRASB Participated in the Quality Management Training Program Major Projects Washington Department of Transportation: (Metric) Lead MicroStation technician for Highway 520 drainage plans. Worked with 4 drainage engineers to create plan and profile sheets for 6 miles of highway reconstruction. Utah Department of Transportation: (Metric)Lead Cadd technician in the Salt Lake City Office to create plans for rebuilding 17 miles of I-15, Salt Lake City�s main north-south corridor, in time for the city to host the Winter Olympics in 2002. Trained new engineers how to use MicroStation as well as oversaw a staff of MicroStation drafters. Coordinated with Seattle Office and Utah Department of Transportation to make sure all cadd standards were maintained. Deliverable was a complete set of engineering plans, including drainage, bridges, elevations, sections, and roadway plans and profiles for the preliminary design. The $1.5 billion project is the largest publicly funded design-build highway project in the U.S. As part of a design joint venture, we helped build 142 new bridge structures and reconstruct 10 interchanges and three junctions. Grays Harbor County: Environmental Planning for Grays Harbor Regional Planning Commission- Route Development for highway improvement. Responsible for gathering all mapping information and aerial photography for study area. Wrote sections of the environmental impact study as well the geology section. |

Major Projects International Forestry Consultants: Project involved scanning and vectorizing various maps of different scales to create a base map for harvest conversion project. Ketchikan, Alaska Public Utilities: Project involved scanning and vectorizing plan sets and details of the swan lake dam and power plant. Viacom Cable Company: Preformed wetland delineation and environmental checklist for vault site at Lake Stevens, Washington. NOAA: (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) scanned and vectorized various ocean charts. Todd Ship Yards: scanned in drawings that were up to 35 feet long of various ships. Client List Includes: CH2M Hill, David Evens and Associates, Montgomery Watson, Eclipse Engineering and Puget Sound Energy. |

| W&H Pacific, Bellevue, Washington Position: Wetland Scientist /Scanning and Mapping Specialist. Responsibilities: Client contacts, marketing, proposal preparation, estimates, budgets and schedules regarding scanning and data conversion projects. Technical supervision and training of personnel and development of production procedures for various scanning, conversions and mapping projects. Performed numerous determinations of wetlands and other waters of the U.S. Wetland projects involved the gathering of field data and sampling of soils waters and plants. Reports were then written including data sheets, photos, graphics, maps and soil survey data and were then submitted to the U.S. Army Corp. of Engineers for review. Scope of work while at W & H Pacific included Civil, Electrical, Architectural, Environmental, Mapping and GIS drafting utilizing MicroStation and IrasB, IrasC and MGE. Responsible for the daily maintenance and backup of the UNIX based operating system, Intergraph network and Eagle ANAtech scanner. Participated in Steven Covey�s Total Quality Management training program and the company�s project management training program. Major Projects Washington State Continuous Airport System Plan: Project involved scanning aerial photography, warping to correct geographical location and creating the ALP (Airport Layout Plans) set of drawings from the photographs for 13 Airports in Washington State. Oregon State Department of Transportation: Mitigation project at Dalton Lake, Oregon. Assisted in the gathering of field data for wetland mitigation. Field data was gathered on 6 100-meter lines. Field data was added to the GIS database (120 total collection points). An aerial photograph was scanned and warped to the survey base map to identify different plant community polygons. Every year the data will be collected and added to the database to conduct water level and plant community analysis to aid in the mitigation plan. We received a letter of accommodation from the Department of Transportation for this project. |

Analytical Surveys Incorporated, Colorado Springs, Colorado Position: Scanning and Mapping Specialist, Darkroom Manager Responsibilities: Developed procedures for the production of hard copy paper and mylar digital orothophotos and various other maps. Used proprietary Unix based digital orthophoto software (ORBIT) for production of digital orthophotos, which were laser plotted to film. Trained personnel in the use of MicroStation graphics, UNIX, digitizing, IVEC, operation and maintenance of Optronics 5040 scanner/plotter and darkroom procedures. Edited maps in production that were digitally compiled from aerial photography using MicroStation. Responsible for darkroom management and supplies. Participated in Corning Total Quality Management Program. Major Projects Boise Cascade Forestry: scanned and vectorized forestry maps that were translated to ArcInfo GIS. Loudon County: Project coordinator of scanning and vectorizing of soils and contour maps to be translated into ArcInfo. Fletcher Challenge Forestry Digital Orthophoto Project: responsible for the production of all hard copy prints and participated in the production of the orthophotos. Clark County, Nevada Digital orthophoto project; participated in the production of 500 digital orthophotos and 1000 hard copy mylar plots. Louisville Kentucky, Part of the project team that worked on graphic edits for an extensive mapping and GIS of Jefferson County Kentucky, which contained the City of Louisville. |
